April Update and the state of things

So I was hoping that come April I’d have some artwork to share with you all and a good idea of what art-based projects would be on their way. Unfortunately the computer problems haven’t really let up. While the freezing issue was resolved back in December, it wasn’t long after that the computer stopped installing Windows updates. It was out of commission for a few weeks because of that.

More recently I was all ready to get my head down and make up for lost time with a brand new tablet and suddenly a new problem surfaced. The computer has slowed down to a crawl and It’s currently away again to see if it can be fixed.

If afterwards I still have problems with the computer then I’m going to have to look in to getting a completely new one. I’m also considering getting a dedicated laptop for writing and artwork on top of that. Neither of these options are cheap, and I’m doing okay for now, but if you want to help out in any way, consider checking out my self-published book, or short ebooks.

I’m still keeping my head down and working, however. So here are a few things to keep an eye on for the next few months.
·         I’m going to be at the Toronto Comics Art Festival from May 11th to 13th. I plan on attending a bunch of workshops and seminars, so if you’re there I’d love to say hello.
·         I’ll also be at Sheffield Comic Con from August 18th to 19th. I’ll be selling copies of Tales of the Modern Realms as well as some prints. Hopefully new ones if I can get things back on track.
·         There’ll be a third in my Ebook series coming out from Less Than Three, probably around June or July time. There’ll be more info coming closer to the time.
·         I still plan on writing a few articles about comics and video games here and there, so I’ll try and get to a more regular output on that.

There are a bunch of other projects in progress too, and I’m hoping to fit one more convention visit in this year too. As ever, thanks for your patience sticking by me, and thanks for reading.
